A RESOLUTION
Commending the Georgia Business Aviation Association; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA) has a long and consistent2
record of service to the community and this state and has been recognized as one of the most3
dynamic and committed civic organizations in Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, GBAA is dedicated to fostering strong relationships ac ross the aviation5
community, helping connect aviation professionals and organizat ions, encouraging the6
exchange of ideas, and promoting the highest standards of operational excellence; and 7
WHEREAS, GBAA works closely with the National Business Aviation Association to8
advocate for the interests of business aviation operators at local, state, and federal levels to9
provide insight on regulatory and legislative matters; engageme nt with airport and10
government authorities; educational programs promoting safety, compliance, and best11
practices; and up-to-date industry information for members and stakeholders; and 12
WHEREAS, a core pillar of GBAA's mission is education and workforce development; to13
date, the association has awarded more than $1 million in schol arships supporting14

professional pilot education, maintenance technician and engine ering training, continuing15
education for current aviation professionals, and industry courses and certifications; and16
WHEREAS, GBAA has established a glowing reputation of renown throughout Georgia for17
continuing innovation in the industry and remaining steadfastly committed to the principles18
of skill, integrity, and responsibility.19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20
the members of this body commed the the Georgia Business Aviation Association and extend21
sincere best wishes for its continues growth and success.22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24
Georgia Business Aviation Association.25
