26 LC 112 3709 House Resolution 1087 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, Barrett of the 24th, Jasperse of the 11th, McDonald III of the 26th, Jones of the 25th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing the West Forsyth High School Esports Rocket League Team for winning the1 2025 Georgia High School Association 4A-6A State Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the West Forsyth High School Esports Rocket League Team represented West3 Forsyth High School during the 2025 Georgia High School Associa tion (GHSA) Spring4 Esports season in the 4A-6A division; and5 WHEREAS, the team demonstrated outstanding skill, strategic excellence, and competitive6 consistency throughout the regular season and postseason playoff bracket; and7 WHEREAS, in the 2025 GHSA 4A-6A Rocket League State Championship match, the West8 Forsyth Wolverines defeated Milton High School by a final serie s score of four games to9 two, securing the 2025 GHSA State Championship title; and10 WHEREAS, this championship marked a historic achievement for We st Forsyth High11 School, representing the school's first Rocket League state title and further establishing its12 Esports program as a leader within the State of Georgia; and13 H. R. 1087 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3709 WHEREAS, the team's success reflects the dedication and preparation of its student-athletes14 as well as the leadership and guidance of its coaching staff an d the support of the West15 Forsyth High School community; and16 WHEREAS, the exemplary performance, sportsmanship, and determination demonstrated17 by the West Forsyth Rocket League Team have brought great pride and recognition to West18 Forsyth High School, Forsyth County, and the State of Georgia.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body recognize the West Forsyth High School Esports Rocket League21 Team for winning the 2025 GHSA 4A-6 A State Championship and ext end their sincere22 congratulations for this outstanding accomplishment.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the25 West Forsyth High School Esports Rocket League Team.26 H.
