26 LC 129 0740 House Resolution 1058 By: Representatives Washburn of the 144th, Dickey of the 134th, Griffin of the 149th, Paris of the 142nd, Herring of the 145th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing the Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team has earned the distinction of being2 the best Junior League team (14-year-old boys) in the United States and the right to compete3 for the World Series Championship against Chinese Taipei; and4 WHEREAS, this superlative team continues its triumphant two yea r journey in Junior5 League competition by posting an outstanding record of 24-5 over two seasons, as well as6 winning Intermediate World Series, Junior League World Series, two District Five7 Championships, two Georgia State Championships, and two Southea st Regional8 Championships; and9 WHEREAS, the team brought special recognition to the state of G eorgia by capturing the10 United States Junior League World Series Championship; and11 WHEREAS, this all-star team includes Jayden Cannon, Jaiden Cent er, Kaiden Harvey,12 Stephen Grogan, Micah Harris, Jaxon Jones, Cole Johnson, Brady Molton, Carter Justice,13 Charlie Kemp, Benton Wilson, Bo Terry, and Warren Easom; and14 H. R. 1058 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0740 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding15 athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the16 team; its superb offensive and defensive talents; and the astut e direction of Head Coach17 Lance Foster and Assistant Coaches Harold Wilson and David Mullis; and18 WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by19 performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is20 abundantly proper to call them champions.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body congratulate The Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team for one of23 the most accomplished Junior League runs in Little League history and extend best wishes24 for their continued success.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to The27 Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team.28 H.
