26 LC 129 0719 House Resolution 1070 By: Representatives Alexander of the 66th and New of the 40th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Alicia Bonner; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Alicia Bonner has long been recognized in the state of Georgia as passionate2 and driven entrepreneur, CEO, philanthropist, and community leader; and3 WHEREAS, in 2026, she retired from GreyStone Power after 23 yea rs of dedicated,4 memorable, and highly respected service; and 5 WHEREAS, during her tenure, her exemplary service was recognized by many prestigious6 awards and honors, including a nomination as Most Inspirational in 2008, Honors of7 Appreciation in 2011, a nomination for Business Associate of the Year in 2022, as well as8 several certificates for consistently going above and beyond; and9 WHEREAS, through her custom framing company, Messages, Alicia brings people closer10 together through her inspiring and uplifting messages, prints, and pictures; and11 WHEREAS, a woman of deep and abiding faith, Alicia is an active member of The Day Star12 Tabernacle International Church in Douglasville, Georgia, where she serves in various13 H. R. 1070 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0719 leadership roles such as head of the Christian bookstore, general secretary, and oversees the14 Kingdom Business Monitor Announcement Ministry; and15 WHEREAS, in addition to her church leadership, Alicia serves her community by assisting16 with the Vend and Vibe events, supporting Royal Accents Events Management wedding17 ceremonies, and regularly donates and volunteers with the Freedom House Women’s shelter;18 and19 WHEREAS, as full time care-giver to her elderly mother, Alicia has proven herself to be a20 person of exemplary strength with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, fairness, and21 kindness; and22 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this23 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25 the members of this body recognize and commend Alicia Bonner fo r her unwavering26 dedication to serving the state of Georgia and extend sincere best wishes for her continued27 health, happiness, and success.28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized29 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Alicia30 Bonner.31 H.
