26 LC 112 3702 House Resolution 1083 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, McDonald III of the 26th, Jones of the 25th, Clark of the 100th, Barrett of the 24th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing the Lambert High School Boys Tennis Team for winnin g the 2025 Georgia1 High School Association Class 6A State Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Lambert High School Boys Tennis Team represented Lambert High School3 in the 2025 Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 6A tennis season; and4 WHEREAS, the team demonstrated exceptional competitive skill, consistency, and discipline5 throughout the 2025 season and state tournament; and6 WHEREAS, at the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Championship match, th e Lambert Boys7 Tennis Team defeated Walton High School by a final score of 3-2, securing the 2025 GHSA8 Class 6A State Title; and9 WHEREAS, this championship victory stands as a testament to the dedication of the10 student-athletes, the leadership of the coaching staff, and the strong support of the Lambert11 community; and12 WHEREAS, the team's performance brought great pride to Lambert High School, Forsyth13 County, and the State of Georgia through their example of sportsmanship and excellence.14 H. R. 1083 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3702 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15 the members of this body recognize and commend the Lambert High School Boys Tennis16 Team for winning the 2025 Georgia High School Association Class 6A State Championship17 and congratulate them for their outstanding athletic achievement.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to20 Lambert High School and the Lambert High School Boys Tennis Team.21 H.
