26 LC 129 0697 House Resolution 1146 By: Representatives Carter of the 93rd, Hugley of the 141st, Jones of the 143rd, Okoye of the 102nd, Beckles of the 96th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending The BoykinZ; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, The BoykinZ are a remarkable rising sister quartet from Snellville, Georgia; and2 WHEREAS, this outstanding music group is known for their viral TikTok country music3 covers and unique blend of country, pop, R&B, and hip-hop; and4 WHEREAS, The BoykinZ is comprised of talented and engaging members, Kylan, Anale,5 Nytere, and Alona and managed by their dedicated parents who share their love for music;6 and7 WHEREAS, The BoykinZ gained substantial social media fame for their harmonizing and8 country-infused sound, leading to appearances on The Kelly Clarkson Show and performing9 with Shania Twain at the CMT Awards as well as on her tour; and10 WHEREAS, The BoykinZ also earned the prestigious golden buzzer on the television show11 America's Got Talent; and12 H. R. 1146 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0697 WHEREAS, the group aims to inspire others with lyrics and authe ntic performances,13 blending traditional country with modern flair.14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15 the members of this body recognize and commend The BoykinZ as well as extend sincere16 best wishes for continued growth and success.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to The19 BoykinZ.20 H.
