A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the winners of the 2025 Miss Atlanta Competition; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, the Miss Atlanta Competition is a scholarship pageant that recognizes2
outstanding young women in three areas of competition, Talent; Interview, and Evening3
Gown; and4
WHEREAS, the following young women have been recognized as the winners of the 20255
Miss Atlanta Competition and have earned scholarship awards for their performance: Jordan6
Kulah, Miss Atlanta 2026; Megan Wright, Miss Capital City 2026; Sarah Jane Houston, Miss7
Greater Atlanta 2026; Landry Wolf, Miss Atlanta Teen 2026; Melony Tidmore, Miss Capital8
City Teen 2026; Madison Walker, Miss Greater Atlanta Teen 2026; and9
WHEREAS, each of these distinguished individuals will go on to represent greater Atlanta10
at the Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia Teen competitions in Columbus, Georgia, the winners11
of which will advance to the national level; and12
WHEREAS, these young women serve as role models who advocate the four points of the13
Miss America crown: Service, Style, Scholarship, and Success; and14

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the winners o f this competition be16
appropriately honored.17
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body18
congratulate Jordan Kulah, Megan Wright, Sarah Jane Houston, La ndry Wolf, Melony19
Tidmore, and Madison Walker upon their exemplary performance an d extend best wishes20
for continued success in future competition.21
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed22
to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for dis tribution to each of the23
aforementioned 2026 Miss Atlanta Competition winners.24
