26 LC 129 0680 House Resolution 1117 By: Representatives Santos of the 117th and Kahaian of the 81st A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Steve Dale Golden; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Steve Dale Golden; and3 WHEREAS, Steve Dale Golden was born on September 16, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky,4 a beloved son of Richard and Charlene Golden; and5 WHEREAS, he served as a guardian of this nation's freedom and l iberty with the United6 States Navy, valiantly and courageously protecting his fellow Americans for 23 years; and 7 WHEREAS, he was united in love and marriage to his wife, Camishe, and was blessed with8 two remarkable children, Tynecia and Sydney; and9 WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern10 for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his11 family and friends were admired by others; and12 H. R. 1117 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0680 WHEREAS, he was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation13 for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example he made of his life, he14 made this world a better place in which to live; and15 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man, Steve Dale Golden wi ll long be16 remembered for his love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who17 had the great fortune of knowing him.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory o f Steve Dale Golden and20 express their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the23 family of Steve Dale Golden.24 H.
