26 LC 129 0786 House Resolution 1121 By: Representatives Clark of the 100 th, Reeves of the 99 th, Hilton of the 48 th, Hong of the 103rd, and Donatucci of the 105th A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Jacob Allen Cardiello; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Jacob Allen Cardiello on June 13, 2021; and3 WHEREAS, Jacob Allen Cardiello was born on May 31, 1998, a devo ted son, brother,4 grandson, and family member; and5 WHEREAS, a man of deep and abiding faith, Jacob Allen Cardiello was an active member6 of North Point Community Church and Browns Bridge; and7 WHEREAS, he gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern8 for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his9 family and friends were admired by others; and10 WHEREAS, Jacob Allen Cardiello was a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Phi, Theta Chi11 Chapter, at the University of Georgia, a loyal brother known fo r his steadfast friendship,12 academic excellence, and commitment to service through the chapter’s philanthropy, Extra13 Special People; and14 H. R. 1121 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0786 WHEREAS, at just 23 years old he was known as a person of magnanimous strengths with15 an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairne ss, and kindness, and by the16 example he made of his life, he made this world a better place in which to live; and17 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous man, Jacob Allen Cardiell o will long be18 remembered for his love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who19 had the great fortune of knowing him.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory o f Jacob Allen Cardiello22 express their deepest and most sincere regret at his passing.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the25 family of Jacob Allen Cardiello.26 H.
