26 LC 129 0592 House Resolution 1107 By: Representative Mitchell of the 88th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and supporting the Family Restoration and Re-Entry Program as a1 comprehensive framework for restoring families and communities; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, strong families are the cornerstone of stable communities, economic vitality,3 and long-term societal well-being, and the restoration of famil ies is essential to reducing4 recidivism, poverty, and generational disruption; and5 WHEREAS, individuals, women, youth, and families impacted by incarceration, economic6 displacement, domestic instability, trauma, and systemic barriers often face limited access7 to education, employment, entrepreneurship, leadership developm ent, and pathways to8 family reunification; and9 WHEREAS, Trinity International University of Ambassadors Corp. (FL), together with its10 affiliate, the Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA) School of Business,11 has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to education, leader ship development,12 entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and community-based empowerment initiatives that13 strengthen individuals, families, and communities; and14 H. R. 1107 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0592 WHEREAS, the TIUA School of Business serves as the academic and economic engine for15 entrepreneurial training, workforce development, financial literacy, and business ownership16 pathways that enable individuals and families to achieve sustainable economic independence;17 and18 WHEREAS, the Family Restoration and Re-Entry Program serves as the overarching19 framework under which education, workforce reintegration, entre preneurship, leadership20 development, and family reunification initiatives operate, with Trinity International21 University of Ambassadors Corp. (FL) and the TIUA School of Bus iness providing22 structured learning, credentialing, mentorship, and business development opportunities for23 justice-impacted individuals and families; and24 WHEREAS, this program is intentionally designed to bring the family together all the way25 around, integrating education, entrepreneurship, employment pat hways, emotional26 restoration, accountability, youth engagement, and generational sustainability to strengthen27 families as unified economic and social units; and28 WHEREAS, Trinity Girls Network Corp., a community-based nonprof it organization29 dedicated to empowering girls, women, and families, plays a vital role in advancing youth30 development, women's leadership, mentoring, life-skills educati on, advocacy, and31 community outreach as part of the Family Restoration and Re-Entry Program; and32 WHEREAS, Trinity Girls Network Corp. provides on-the-ground pro gramming and33 supportive services addressing the needs of girls and women impacted by trauma, economic34 instability, family separation, and social inequities, thereby strengthening family units and35 supporting long-term restoration; and36 H. R. 1107 - 2 - 26 LC 129 0592 WHEREAS, the RebuildHER Initiative, operating within the Family Restoration and37 Re-Entry framework and anchored in the educational and economic infrastructure of Trinity38 International University of Ambassadors Corp. (FL) and the TIUA School of Business,39 addresses the unique challenges faced by women and mothers impa cted by justice40 involvement, domestic abuse, economic hardship, and disrupted e ducational or career41 pathways; and42 WHEREAS, the RebuildHER Initiative equips women to rebuild conf idence, capacity,43 purpose, and leadership through education, entrepreneurship, healing-centered support, and44 pathways to financial independence, recognizing women and mothers as catalysts for family45 and community transformation; and46 WHEREAS, the GlobalHER Initiative, advancing the theme "Empowering Her Justice," is47 intentionally aligned with the 70th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status48 of Women (CSW70) and related United Nations global engagements taking place March49 11-15, 2026, reinforcing a shared commitment to justice-centere d solutions that restore50 families, empower women and girls, support re-entry and economic inclusion, and advance51 education- and entrepreneurship-driven pathways at the local, national, and global levels; and52 WHEREAS, The Organization of World Leaders provides global lead ership engagement,53 policy alignment, international collaboration, and advocacy sup port that elevates family54 restoration, re-entry, women's empowerment, and youth developme nt initiatives within55 broader national and global conversations on justice, economic inclusion, ethical governance,56 and sustainable development; and57 WHEREAS, together, Trinity International University of Ambassadors Corp. (FL), the TIUA58 School of Business, Trinity Girls Network Corp., and The Organization of World Leaders59 H. R. 1107 - 3 - 26 LC 129 0592 form an integrated education-to-community-to-leadership model t hat aligns local family60 restoration efforts with national priorities and global leaders hip principles through61 cross-sector collaboration; and62 WHEREAS, these combined initiatives advance broader public goals including workforce63 development, small business growth, women's and youth empowerment, family reunification,64 reduced recidivism, ethical leadership development, and global civic engagement.65 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that66 the members of this body commend Trinity International University of Ambassadors Corp.67 (FL) and the TIUA School of Business as the educational and eco nomic backbone of the68 Family Restoration and Re-Entry Program and the RebuildHER Initiative; further recognize69 Trinity Girls Network Corp. for its essential role in community engagement, youth and70 women's empowerment, and family-centered restoration; and acknowledge The Organization71 of World Leaders for its role in advancing global leadership, p olicy alignment, and72 international collaboration in support of these initiatives.73 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this body encourages collaboration among educational74 institutions, nonprofit organizations, workforce agencies, comm unity and faith-based75 partners, leadership organizations, and public and private stakeholders to support and expand76 these initiatives as scalable models for family restoration, re -entry success, women-and-77 youth-centered economic rebuilding, and global leadership engagement.78 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized79 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to Trinity80 International University of Ambassadors Corp.
