A RESOLUTION
Commending the Middle Georgia State University School of Aviation for its excellence in1
aerospace education, its record-breaking growth, and its vital role in fueling the aviation2
workforce of Georgia; and for other purposes.3
WHEREAS, the Middle Georgia State University School of Aviation stands as Georgia’s4
flagship aviation school, offeri ng the state's only four-year f light and airport management5
degree programs and serving as a critical pipeline for the aerospace industry; and6
WHEREAS, demonstrating remarkable growth and demand, the School of Aviation has been7
a driving force behind Middle Georgia State University reaching a historic enrollment record8
of 8,828 students in the Fall of 2025, marking the institution's eighth consecutive semester9
of growth; and10
WHEREAS, the school continues to solidify its status as a premier aviation training center,11
boasting a fleet of over 50 state-of-the-art aircraft and earning distinction as the first program12
in Georgia to be recognized by the Federal Aviation Administrat ion as an Enhanced Air13
Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) school; and14

WHEREAS, the School of Aviation has forged powerful industry pa rtnerships to ensure15
student success, most notably through its enduring collaboration with Delta Air Lines via the16
Propel Pilot Career Path and Delta TechOps, which provide students with defined pathways17
to careers with one of the world’s leading airlines; and18
WHEREAS, in June 2025, the university further strengthened its community ties by19
launching a new partnership with the Museum of Aviation Foundat ion to enhance20
educational outreach and innovation, ensuring the legacy of avi ation in Warner Robins21
continues to inspire future generations; and22
WHEREAS, the efficacy of its workforce training is evidenced by the Aircraft Structural23
Technology program, which celebrated a 100 percent employment rate for its Spring 202424
graduates at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, directly supporting our nation's25
defense capabilities; and26
WHEREAS, the school’s commitment to academic excellence was highlighted at the 202527
Honors Convocation, where students such as Logan Brown and Ryan Lusco were recognized28
for their outstanding achievements in Aviation Science and Mana gement, setting a high29
standard for their peers; and30
WHEREAS, under the guidance of its dedicated faculty and leader ship, the School of31
Aviation recently secured a significant National Science Foundation grant to align classroom32
learning with professional workforce needs, ensuring that gradu ates are equipped with33
cutting-edge skills for the modern aviation landscape.34
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that35
the members of this body recognize University President Dr. Christopher Blake; Adon Clark,36

the Dean of the School of Aviation; and the entire faculty and staff for their vision and37
dedication that have established the school as a beacon of opportunity in Middle Georgia.38
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized39
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the40
Middle Georgia State University School of Aviation.41
