26 LC 131 0002 House Resolution 1159 By: Representative Yearta of the 152nd A RESOLUTION Congratulating the Worth County High School football team for w inning the 2025 GHSA1 Class A Division 1 State Football Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Worth County High School football team has established and maintained3 a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and4 WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team5 a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable6 2025 campaign, the team captured its well-deserved state football championship; and7 WHEREAS, this superlative team brought special recognition to i ts school and to Worth8 County by winning the 2025 GHSA Class A Division 1 State Football Championship; and9 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding10 athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the11 team; its superb offensive and defensive talents; and the astute direction of their coaches; and12 H.
