26 LC 129 0750 House Resolution 1193 By: Representatives Gullett of the 19th, Seabaugh of the 34th, and Wilkerson of the 38th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Reflections of Trinity; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Reflections of Trinity is an exceptional non-profit organization based in Powder2 Springs, Georgia, that serves 77 counties in Georgia and 56 counties out of state; and3 WHEREAS, founded in 2003, Reflections of Trinity serves Georgia families with4 compassion, generosity, and respect, ensuring no family goes hungry; and5 WHEREAS, in 2025 alone, Reflections of Trinity expanded their services to serve 100,2886 unique individuals, distributed more than 2.35 million pounds of food, and helped submit 2627 applications for state assistance; and8 WHEREAS, since the opening of its food pantry in 2012, this outstanding organization has9 aided more than 770,000 individuals with an estimated 21.7 million pounds of food; and 10 WHEREAS, in addition to supplying food to those in need, Reflec tions of Trinity has11 donated 35,656 items of clothing, toys , and non-food items to schools, disaster relief, and12 families in crisis; and13 H. R. 1193 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0750 WHEREAS, Reflections of Trinity’s 1,892 volunteers showed an unwavering commitment14 to community and embodied the spirit of love in action though m ore than 20,537 hours of15 service; and16 WHEREAS, showing that compassion has no boarders, Reflections o f Trinity sent two17 pallets of disaster relief supplies in response to the devastating hurricane in Jamaica, ; and18 WHEREAS, the year 2025 marks a historic milestone for Reflections of Trinity, as this year19 it increased its outreach by 57 percent in Georgia, increased by 81 percent out-of-state, and20 for the first time in its history served more than 100,000 individuals in a single year; and21 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor the outst anding accomplishments22 of this extraordinary organization.23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24 the members of this body recognize and commend Reflections of Trinity for its unwavering25 commitment to community and state as well as extend sincere bes t wishes for continued26 growth and success.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to29 Reflections of Trinity.30 H.
