26 LC 62 0289/AP House Bill 1155 (AS PASSED HOUSE AND SENATE) By: Representatives Ford of the 170th and O’Steen of the 169th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend an Act creating a board of commissioners for Tift Coun ty, approved August 9,1 1917 (Ga. L. 1917, p. 396), as amended, particularly by an Act approved March 28, 19852 (Ga. L. 1985, p. 4875), so as to revise purchasing provisions; to repeal conflicting laws; and3 for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 An Act creating a board of commissioners for Tift County, appro ved August 9, 1917 (Ga.7 L. 1917, p. 396), as amended, particularly by an Act approved March 28, 1985 (Ga. L. 1985,8 p. 4875), is amended by striking Section 10A and revising Section 10 as follows:9 "SECTION 10.10 Purchasing and Bidding Procedures.11 The board of commissioners shall be the purchasing agent of Tif t County and shall12 purchase any and all things for the use of the county. Purchasing and bidding procedures13 shall be done in accordance with a purchasing and bidding policy adopted by the board."14 H.
