26 LC 129 0731 House Resolution 1179 By: Representatives Momtahan of the 17th, Camp of the 135th, Washburn of the 144th, Gullett of the 19th, Crowe of the 118th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter ( CAI-Georgia) is a2 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of li fe for Georgians living in3 community associations, including homeowners' and condominium associations throughout4 the state; and5 WHEREAS, CAI-Georgia serves communities representing more than 2.5 million residents6 across over 11,000 community associations in Georgia, whose members collectively invest7 billions of dollars annually to maintain and enhance their neighborhoods; and8 WHEREAS, CAI-Georgia advances education and leadership developm ent for volunteer9 community leaders and industry professionals, promotes sound governance and responsible10 community management, and supports professional standards among those who serve11 community associations; and12 WHEREAS, CAI-Georgia actively engages in constructive legislati ve advocacy, working13 collaboratively with policymakers to promote effective, balanced public policy that protects14 homeowners, strengthens communities, and supports economic stability across the state; and15 H. R. 1179 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0731 WHEREAS, the efforts of the Community Associations Institute - Georgia Chapter16 contribute significantly to the well-being, sustainability, and quality of life of communities17 throughout Georgia.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter20 for its dedication to community service, education, and advocac y, and commends the21 organization for its ongoing contributions to the people of Georgia.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the24 Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter. 25 H.
