26 LC 129 0874 House Resolution 1212 By: Representatives Moore of the 91st, Carter of the 93rd, Kendrick of the 95th, and Davis of the 87th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Councilwoman Tara Graves on her outs tanding public1 service; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Tara Graves has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital3 role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal co mmitment to the welfare of4 the citizens of Georgia; and5 WHEREAS, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,6 talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as evidenced7 dramatically by her tireless dedication to ensuring that Stonecrest is one of the most desirable8 cities in DeKalb County; and9 WHEREAS, she has committed herself to enhancing the community of Stonecrest through10 ongoing beatification and development initiatives, contributing to a clean, vibrant, and well-11 maintained city; and12 WHEREAS, Tara Graves' significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable13 patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of14 this state have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and15 H. R. 1212 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0874 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for16 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and17 WHEREAS, Tara Graves' vision and unyielding commitment to City of Stonecrest has set18 the standard for public service; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this20 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body recognize and commend Tara Graves for her efficient, effective,23 unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere24 best wishes for continued health and happiness.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Tara27 Graves.28 H.
