26 LC 129 0916 Senate Resolution 693 By: Senators Harbison of the 15th, Anderson of the 43rd, Kemp o f the 38th, Wicks of the 34th, Parent of the 44th and others A RESOLUTION Honoring Annie D's Restaurant of Buena Vista, Georgia; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Annie D's Restaurant, located in Buena Vista, Marion C ounty, Georgia, has2 served as a cherished gathering place for residents and visitor s alike, offering warm3 hospitality and home-style cooking that reflects the rich tradi tions and culture of the4 community; and5 WHEREAS, through its commitment to quality, consistency, and se rvice, Annie D's6 Restaurant has earned a reputation as a local landmark, welcoming generations of families,7 neighbors, civic leaders, and travelers to its tables; and8 WHEREAS, Annie D's Restaurant has contributed meaningfully to the economic vitality of9 Buena Vista by supporting local employment, sourcing goods and services within the region,10 and drawing patrons to the downtown area; and11 WHEREAS, beyond its culinary offerings, Annie D's Restaurant em bodies the spirit of12 small-town Georgia, fostering connection, fellowship, and a sense of belonging for all who13 enter its doors; and14 S. R. 693 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0916 WHEREAS, the owners and staff of Annie D's Restaurant are to be commended for their15 dedication, hard work, and perseverance in operating a successf ul small business and for16 their positive impact on the quality of life in Marion County; and17 WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to recognize and honor Annie D's Restaurant for its years18 of service, community presence, and lasting contributions to Buena Vista, Georgia.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body20 honor Annie D's Restaurant of Buena Vista, Georgia, and commend its owners and staff for21 their outstanding service and commitment to the community.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed23 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Annie D's24 Restaurant.25 S.
