26 LC 129 0911 House Resolution 1207 By: Representatives Smith of the 138th, Rice of the 139th, Ridley of the 6th, Williams of the 148th, and Corbett of the 174th A RESOLUTION Honoring the life, service, and accomplishments of Zade Kenimer; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Zade Kenimer served the people of Georgia with honor a nd distinction as a2 member of the Georgia House of Representatives during the late 1940s, contributing to the3 legislative process during a pivotal period in the state's history; and4 WHEREAS, during his tenure in the Georgia House of Representati ves, Zade Kenimer5 demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the principles of representative government, public6 responsibility, and service to his constituents ; and7 WHEREAS, in addition to his legislative service, Zade Kenimer devoted his professional life8 to education, shaping young minds, encouraging civic responsibi lity, and promoting the9 enduring value of learning; and10 WHEREAS, his work as an educator reflected the same integrity, discipline, and sense of11 duty that defined his service in public office; and12 WHEREAS, Zade Kenimer was widely respected for his character, wisdom, and leadership,13 earning the admiration of colleagues, students, and community members alike; and14 H. R. 1207 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0911 WHEREAS, his life stands as a testament to the enduring impact of public service,15 education, and community leadership, and his legacy continues t hough the many lives he16 touched; and 17 WHEREAS, the passing of Zade Kenimer is a profound loss to his family, friends, and to the18 State of Georgia, which benefitted greatly from his service.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body honor and commemorate the life and acc omplishments of Zade21 Kenimer, recognizing his service in the Georgia House of Repres entatives and his lasting22 contributions as an educator and citizen.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the25 family of Zade Kenimer.26 H.
