26 LC 129 0913 Senate Resolution 694 By: Senators Harbison of the 15th, Anderson of the 43rd, Kemp o f the 38th, Wicks of the 34th, Parent of the 44th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Kaylynn "Amonii" Lovejoy; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Kaylynn "Amonii" Lovejoy is a Montgomery, Alabama, native and graduate2 of Johnnie Carr Middle School, Booker T. Washington Magnet High School, and Alabama3 State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2020; and 4 WHEREAS, born in London, England, she embraces her heritage as a true military brat, as5 the daughter of retired First Sergeant James E. Lovejoy of the Untied States Army and retired6 Sergeant Major Crystal M. Lovejoy of the United States Air Force; and7 WHEREAS, a current resident of Atlanta, Georgia, Amonii works a s a Veterinary8 Technician at Leland Veterinary Clinic and is entering her four th season as an NFL9 cheerleader with the Atlanta Falcons, one of the league's most prestigious cheerleading10 squads; and11 WHEREAS, in partnership with her Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority sis ter, Ke'Yanna12 Robinson-Ali, Amonii inspires the next generation of young performers through her dance13 camps designed to empower girls five to 15 years of age; and14 S. R. 694 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0913 WHEREAS, Amonii brings pride to herself, her family, and her co untry as an Atlanta15 Falcon's cheerleader and the daughter of Veterans.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body17 recognize and commend Kaylynn "Amonii" Lovejoy for her outstanding accomplishments18 and extend their sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and success. 19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed20 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Kaylynn "Amonii"21 Lovejoy.22 S.
