L. 2004, p. 3983); to provide for th e assets and liabilities2 thereof; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:4 SECTION 1.5 An Act creating the Garden City Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Authority, approved6 May 17, 2004 (Ga. L. 2004, p. 3983), is hereby repealed in its entirety.7 SECTION 2.8 Any and all assets of the Garden City Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Authority shall9 devolve automatically and without further action to Garden City , Georgia, subject to any10 restrictions provided by law. The City Council of Garden City, Georgia, is authorized to11 execute any deeds or instruments of conveyance required to place title of such assets into the12 name of Garden City and is authorized to do so in the name of t he Garden City Area13 Convention and Visitors Bureau Authority. The obligations of t he Garden City Area14 Convention and Visitors Bureau Authority shall be transferred t o and assumed by Garden15 H. B. 1186 - 1 - 26 LC 62 0272/AP City, Georgia, by such instruments as may be required to mainta in the same. The City16 Council of Garden City, Georgia, is authorized to execute any such instruments required to17 transfer such obligations into the name of Garden City and is authorized to do so in the name18 of the Garden City Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Authority.19 SECTION 3.20 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.21 H.
