26 LC 129 0950 House Resolution 1231 By: Representative Jones of the 60th A RESOLUTION Recognizing The Trenches Global Impact Center; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, The Trenches Global Impact Center is a free, youth com munity center that2 provides mentorship, creative outlets, workforce development, and positive role models for3 youth who may feel overlooked or at risk; and4 WHEREAS, The Trenches Global Impact Center and The Trenches Glo bal fashion brand5 were founded by Rashod Stanley, drawing profound inspiration from his personal experience6 with incarnation; and7 WHEREAS, directly upon Rashod Stanley's release from prison, th e first location of The8 Trenches Global Impact Center was opened in East Point, Georgia; and9 WHEREAS, on February 21, 2026, the non-profit organization will host a fashion show and10 open its new location at 1230 Hightower Road, Atlanta, Georgia; and11 WHEREAS, in the past year The Trenches Global Impact Center ha s reached over 2,00012 families through community events and initiatives, including Th anksgiving meal13 distributions, Christmas toy giveaways, and free food giveaways; and14 H. R. 1231 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0950 WHEREAS, the new 10,000-square-foot location will allow the organization to increase its15 reach, expand its programs, and continue to instill positivity and hope in the community.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17 the members of this body recognize The Trenches Global Impact C enter and extend their18 sincere best withes for continued growth and success.19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized20 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to21 Rashod Stanley.22 H.
