26 LC 129 0797 Senate Resolution 700 By: Senators Burns of the 23rd, Williams of the 25th, Payne of the 54th, Howard of the 35th, Harrell of the 40th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Stacey Mabray; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Stacey Mabray has been selected to compete for the hon or of becoming the2 state recipient of the Technical College System of Georgia's 2025 Georgia Adult Education3 Teacher of the Year; and4 WHEREAS, with this award, Ms. Mabray has earned the distinction of being named the5 Technical College System of Georgia's 2025 Georgia Adult Education Teacher of the Year;6 and7 WHEREAS, Ms. Mabray, an instructor for the adult education program at Augusta Technical8 College, has exemplified excellence in instructional knowledge and practices; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of such, Ms. Mabray was selected from an elite group of Georgia10 adult education instructors who have each demonstrated innovative teaching practices and11 exceptional leadership skills at their respective institutions; and12 S. R. 700 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0797 WHEREAS, through dedication and professionalism, Ms. Mabray has brought honor to13 herself, her family, Augusta Technical College and the entire Technical College System of14 Georgia.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16 commend and congratulate Stacey Mabray for her achievements and her efforts to promote17 adult and technical education in Georgia and convey their congratulations.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed19 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Stacey Mabray.20 S.
