26 LC 129 0795 Senate Resolution 698 By: Senators Burns of the 23rd, Williams of the 25th, Payne of the 54th, Howard of the 35th, Harrell of the 40th and others ADOPTED SENATE A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Dr. Ekaterina Mirzakulova and inviting her to appear before1 the Georgia Senate; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Dr. Mirzakulova has been selected as the state recipie nt of the Technical3 College System of Georgia's 2025 Rick Perkins Award for Excelle nce in Technical4 Instruction; and5 WHEREAS, with this award, Dr. Mirzakulova has earned the distin ction of being the6 Technical College System of Georgia's Instructor of the Year; and7 WHEREAS, Dr. Mirzakulova, an instructor of Chemistry at Central Georgia Technical8 College, has exemplified excellence in instructional knowledge and practice; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Mirzakulova was selected10 from an elite group of Georgia technical college instructors wh o have demonstrated11 innovative teaching practices and exceptional leadership skills at their respective technical12 colleges; and13 S. R. 698 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0795 WHEREAS, through dedication and professionalism, Dr. Mirzakulova has brought honor to14 herself, her family, Central Georgia Technical College, and the entire Technical College15 System of Georgia.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body17 commend and congratulate Dr. Ekaterina Mirzakulova for her outstanding achievements and18 her efforts to promote technical education in Georgia. 19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed20 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Dr. Ekaterina21 Mirzakulova.22 S.
