26 LC 39 4910/AP House Bill 1202 (AS PASSED HOUSE AND SENATE) By: Representatives Corbett of the 174th, Mathis of the 133rd, and Smith of the 138th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Code Section 35-6A-17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to1 Georgia Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Advisory Board, membership, and termination, so2 as to correct a scrivener's error in a cross-reference; to provide for related matters; to repeal3 conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 Code Section 35-6A-17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated , relating to Georgia7 Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Advisory Board, membership, and termination, is amended8 by revising subsection (e) as follows:9 "(e) The Georgia Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Advisory Board shall solicit and review10 applications for grants authorized pursuant to Code Section 35-6A-15 35-6A-16 and make11 recommendations to the council for the award thereof."12 SECTION 2.13 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.14 H.
