26 LC 129 0912 House Resolution 1253 By: Representatives Douglas of the 78th, Crowe of the 118th, Washburn of the 144th, Paris of the 142nd, and Camp of the 135th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Brianne Drake; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, standing as a testament to her dedication to career excellence, President Brianne2 Drake has made history as the first Black president of the Geor gia Association of3 REALTORS®; and4 WHEREAS, Brianne Drake has a long and consistent record of service to the community and5 this state and has been recognized as one of the most dynamic a nd committed associate6 brokers in Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, a highly distinguished industry professional, she has earned numerous awards8 and honors for her work, including being named REALTOR® of the Year in both 2011 and9 2018 by the Metro South Association of REALTORS®, receiving the J.L. Christian10 Leadership Award in 2009 and 2011, and the President’s Award in 2012; and11 WHEREAS, throughout her distinguished career, Brianne has held numerous national12 leadership positions dedicated to advancing the real estate industry and the clients it serves;13 and 14 H. R. 1253 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0912 WHEREAS, she has served as chair of the professional standards interpretations and15 procedures advisory board and chair of the professional standards committee for the national16 association of REALTORS® and currently serves as a director for the organization; and17 WHEREAS, she further serves the organization as part of several committees and boards18 while maintaining an outstanding standard of service for her clients, earning recognition in19 the Atlanta Business Chronicle and RISMedia’s Real Estate Magazine; and20 WHEREAS, Brianne has held numerous state REALTOR® Association leadership positions21 dedicated to advancing the real estate industry including servi ng as chair of the Georgia22 REALTOR® party action committee fundraising council in 2023; and23 WHEREAS, her ongoing support for the real estate industry and p rotection of the public24 interest is clearly shown through her support of statewide advocacy effort; and25 WHEREAS, this remarkable corporate citizen has established a gl owing reputation of26 renown throughout Georgia for her dedication and high ideals; and27 WHEREAS, Brianne has been dedicated to providing unparalleled service and support and28 remains steadfastly committed to the principles of skill, integrity, and responsibility; and29 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this30 extraordinary professional be appropriately recognized.31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that32 the members of this body recognize and commend Brianne Drake for her many remarkable33 H.
