A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Cartersville High School competition cheerleading team for winning the1
2025 GHSA Class 4A State Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Cartersville High School competition cheerleading team has established and3
maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;4
and5
WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team6
a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable7
2025 campaign, the team captured its second consecutive state cheerleading championship8
title; and9
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding10
athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the11
team and the astute direction of coaches Breanna Johnson, Cissi Adams, Trista Edge, and12
Kailah Dempsey; and13
WHEREAS, this all-star team included Ava Barnes, Keely Blalock, Averie Brotherton,14
Kendra Caldwell, Emerie Elrod, Makenzie Fletcher, Georgia Graves, McKenzie Ham, Addie15

Harris, Callie Hastings, Presley Ledford, Charleigh Lowry, Claire Pogue, Laney Saunders,16
Kyndal Shook, and Kalee Wyatt; and17
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by18
performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is19
abundantly proper to call them champions.20
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21
the members of this body congratulate the the Cartersville High School competition22
cheerleading team for winning the 2025 GHSA Class 4A State Cham pionship and extend23
best wishes for their continued success.24
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized25
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the26
Cartersville High School competition cheerleading team.27
