26 LC 129 0958 House Resolution 1283 By: Representatives Seabaugh of the 34th, Cooper of the 45th, Gullett of the 19th, Parsons of the 44th, Ehrhart of the 36th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and congratulating Dominique Verville, Miss Cobb County 2026; and for other1 purposes.2 WHEREAS, Dominique Verville won the title of Miss Cobb County 2026 at the 67th annual3 Miss Cobb County Scholarship Competition; and4 WHEREAS, in June, Dominique will represent Cobb County in the M iss Georgia5 Competition in Columbus, Georgia, where she will have the opportunity to advance to the6 Miss America Competition; and7 WHEREAS, in recognition of her exemplary performance, she was a w a r d e d t h e S u s a n8 McGary Scholarship and the Carley Vogel Talent Award for her ly rical dance to "Always9 Remember Us This Way"; and10 WHEREAS, Dominique is employed as an Aviation Insurance Underwr iter with Old11 Republic Aerospace in Kennesaw, Georgia; and12 H. R. 1283 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0958 WHEREAS, she holds a private pilot license and was previously elected President of the13 War Eagle Chapter of Women in Aviation and spokesperson for the Auburn University14 Department of Aviation; and15 WHEREAS, Dominique is a passionate advocate for her Community Service Initiative: Heart16 for Heroes: Serving Veterans and Military Families; and 17 WHEREAS, Dominique brings great pride to herself, her family, Cobb County, and the State18 of Georgia; and 19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor the remarkable achievements of this20 outstanding Georgian. 21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body recognize Dominique Verville, congratu late her upon winning 23 Miss Cobb County 2026, and extend their sincere best wishes for her continued health,24 happiness, and success.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to27 Dominique Verville.28 H.
