26 LC 129 0746 Senate Resolution 736 By: Senators Jones of the 10th, Wicks of the 34th, Orrock of the 36th, Davenport of the 17th, Jackson of the 41st and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Marji Coles and Ladies of 2morrow; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Ladies of 2morrow is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization that addresses the2 growing need for youth development, women empowerment, and fami ly stability in3 underserved communities; and4 WHEREAS, through structured programming, Ladies of 2morrow prov ides mentorship,5 life-skills education, mental health support, leadership development, and community-based6 workshops designed to equip young women with the tools needed to thrive; and7 WHEREAS, Marji Coles, founder of Ladies of 2morrow, has a deep commitment to Christ8 and a lifelong passion for helping families and communities grow; and9 WHEREAS, her passionate and skilled leadership reflects a strong belief that when young10 women and families are supported, entire communities are strengthened, not only today but11 for generations to come; and12 WHEREAS, since its founding in 2023, Ladies of 2morrow has served hundreds of girls and13 families across the greater-Atlanta area; and14 S. R. 736 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0746 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this extraord inary organization is15 appropriately honored.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body17 recognize and commend Marji Coles, founder of Ladies of 2morrow , for her unwavering18 commitment to serving communities in need and extend sincere best wishes for continued19 growth and success.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed21 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Ladies of22 2morrow.23 S.
