26 LC 129 1039 Senate Resolution 743 By: Senator Bearden of the 30th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Joann Herrell; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Joann Herrell is a distinguished and well respected re al estate professional,2 known for her integrity, expertise, and unwaveringly positive outlook; and3 WHEREAS, during her more than 50 year career, Joann established a glowing reputation of4 renown throughout Georgia as well as earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues5 and associates; and6 WHEREAS, as the former owner of Westberry Realty, a Century 21 franchise, Joann7 demonstrated her significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and8 diplomacy, as well as her keen sense of vision; and9 WHEREAS, Joann attributes her success to a simple yet powerful philosophy, to “never say10 never” and remains positive through challenging situations; and11 WHEREAS, deeply rooted in her community, Joann is a dedicated m ember of Villa Rica12 First Methodist Church and a proud mother, grandmother, great-g randmother, and great-13 great-grandmother; and14 S. R. 743 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1039 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this15 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body17 recognize and commend Joann Herrell for her positivity, hard wo rk, and the courage to18 “never say never.”19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed20 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Joann Herrell.21 S.
