26 LC 129 0983 Senate Resolution 734 By: Senators Burns of the 23rd, Hickman of the 4th, Harrell of the 40th, Payne of the 54th, Williams of the 25th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Dr. Ekaterina Mirzakulova; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Dr. Mirzakulova has been selected as the state recipie nt of the Technical2 College System of Georgia's 2025 Rick Perkins Award for Excelle nce in Technical3 Instruction; and4 WHEREAS, with this award, Dr. Mirzakulova has earned the distin ction of being the5 Technical College System of Georgia's Instructor of the Year; and6 WHEREAS, Dr. Mirzakulova, an instructor of Chemistry at Central Georgia Technical7 College, has exemplified excellence in instructional knowledge and practice; and8 WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Mirzakulova was selected9 from an elite group of Georgia technical college instructors wh o have demonstrated10 innovative teaching practices and exceptional leadership skills at their respective technical11 colleges; and12 S. R. 734 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0983 WHEREAS, through dedication and professionalism, Dr. Mirzakulova has brought honor to13 herself, her family, Central Georgia Technical College, and the entire Technical College14 System of Georgia.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16 commend and congratulate Dr. Ekaterina Mirzakulova for her outstanding achievements and17 her efforts to promote technical education in Georgia. 18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed19 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Dr. Ekaterina20 Mirzakulova.21 S.
