26 LC 112 3706 House Resolution 1314 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, McDonald III of the 26th, Jones of the 25th, Clark of the 100th, Barrett of the 24th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Lambert High School Girls Golf Program for its sustained1 excellence, championship record, and contributions to high scho ol athletics; and for other2 purposes.3 WHEREAS, the Lambert High School Girls Golf Program has establi shed itself as one of4 the most consistently dominant programs in the State of Georgia, maintaining a standard of5 excellence within the Georgia High School Association (GHSA); and6 WHEREAS, Lambert has earned a total of 11 GHSA State Team Championships, including7 a streak of six consecutive state titles from 2020 through 2025 , demonstrating unmatched8 consistency and competitive performance; and9 WHEREAS, during the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Championship, Lamb ert secured the10 team title with a two-day total of 421 (11-under par), winning the championship by a11 remarkable 69-stroke margin, further reinforcing the program's statewide and national12 reputation for excellence; and13 H. R. 1314 - 1 - 26 LC 112 3706 WHEREAS, in addition to championship success, the program has c aptured every14 Area/Region Championship for over 14 consecutive seasons, marki ng one of the longest15 sustained runs of dominance in GHSA girls golf; and16 WHEREAS, the program's achievements reflect the leadership, pre paration, and player17 development provided by the coaching staff, whose commitment to discipline,18 sportsmanship, and competitive excellence has elevated Lambert Girls Golf to a model19 program in high-school athletics; and20 WHEREAS, the continued success of Lambert Girls Golf brings hon or to Lambert High21 School, inspires future student-athletes, and contributes posit ively to the academic and22 athletic culture of the Forsyth County community.23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24 the members of this body recognize and commend the Lambert High School Girls Golf25 Program for its exceptional accomplishments, its longstanding championship tradition, and26 its continued contributions to excellence in Georgia high-school athletics.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to29 Lambert High School and its girls golf coaching staff.30 H.
