26 LC 129 1046 House Resolution 1337 By: Representatives Beckles of the 96th, McClain of the 109th, Ali of the 106th, Clark of the 108th, Okoye of the 102nd, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Baldwin Elementary School on the occ asion of its 10th1 anniversary and honoring the living legend, Beauty Baldwin, for whom the school is named;2 and for other purposes.3 WHEREAS, Baldwin Elementary School in House District 96 celebrates its 10th anniversary4 of providing exceptional educational opportunities and fostering academic excellence for the5 children of our community; and6 WHEREAS, for the past decade, Baldwin Elementary School has served as a cornerstone of7 educational achievement, nurturing young minds and preparing students for future success8 through dedicated teaching, innovative programs, and a commitment to the whole child; and9 WHEREAS, Baldwin Elementary School is named in honor of Beauty Baldwin, a living10 legend whose lifetime of service, leadership, and dedication to the community has left an11 indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals; and12 WHEREAS, Beauty Baldwin's legacy of excellence, compassion, and unwavering13 commitment to uplifting others serves as a daily inspiration to the students, faculty, staff, and14 families of Baldwin Elementary School; and15 H. R. 1337 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1046 WHEREAS, the naming of Baldwin Elementary School after Beauty Baldwin ensures that16 future generations will learn about and be inspired by her rema rkable contributions and17 exemplary character; and18 WHEREAS, over the past ten years, Baldwin Elementary School has cultivated a nurturing19 learning environment where students develop not only academic skills but also the values of20 respect, responsibility, and community engagement that Beauty Baldwin exemplifies; and21 WHEREAS, the teachers, administrators, staff, and parents of Baldwin Elementary School22 have worked tirelessly to create a school culture that honors the legacy of Beauty Baldwin23 through their dedication to educational excellence and their co mmitment to serving every24 child; and25 WHEREAS, Baldwin Elementary School has become a source of pride for the community,26 producing students who are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the future while carrying27 forward the values and spirit embodied by Beauty Baldwin; and28 WHEREAS, this 10th anniversary celebration provides an opportun ity to reflect on the29 school's achievements, honor Beauty Baldwin's enduring legacy, and recommit to the30 mission of providing quality education to all students.31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that32 the members of this body recognize and commend Baldwin Elementa ry School on the33 occasion of its 10th anniversary and express sincere appreciation for the school's decade of34 service to the community.35 H. R. 1337 - 2 - 26 LC 129 1046 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body honor and pay tribute to36 Beauty Baldwin, a living legend whose name graces the school and whose life exemplifies37 the highest ideals of service, leadership, and dedication to community.38 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized39 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to40 Baldwin Elementary School and to Beauty Baldwin.41 H.
