26 LC 129 0988 Senate Resolution 761 By: Senators Williams of the 25th, Anderson of the 24th, Goodman of the 8th, Lucas of the 26th, Robertson of the 29th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Logan Crosby for his professional ac hievements and1 contributions to the State of Georgia and the arts; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Logan Crosby was born in Macon, Georgia, and raised in Milledgeville,3 Georgia; and4 WHEREAS, Logan Crosby is a graduate of the University of Georgi a, where he earned a5 degree in political science; and6 WHEREAS, during his collegiate career, Logan Crosby gained hand s-on experience in7 public service, working with Senator Ricky Williams, Representative Houston Gaines, and8 the administration of Governor Brian Kemp, building a foundation in government operations,9 constituent services, and campaign work; and10 WHEREAS, in addition to his public service experience, Logan Cr osby also worked with11 Williams Funeral Home under Senator Ricky Williams, further strengthening his connection12 to community service and local leadership; and13 S. R. 761 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0988 WHEREAS, in 2022, Logan Crosby competed on the inaugural season of ABC's Claim to14 Fame, where he earned second place and gained national recognition; and15 WHEREAS, following his television appearance, Logan Crosby relo cated to Nashville,16 Tennessee, to pursue a full-time career in music; and17 WHEREAS, Logan Crosby is now an independent recording artist whose music blends pop,18 rock, soul, and country influences, and he has toured extensively across the United States;19 and20 WHEREAS, he has released multiple original projects and is currently on his third headlining21 tour, continuing to expand his audience through authentic songwriting and live performances;22 and23 WHEREAS, Logan Crosby's unique journey from public service to t he arts reflects the24 diverse talents fostered in Georgia and serves as an inspiratio n to young professionals25 pursuing both civic engagement and creative endeavors.26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body27 recognize and commend Logan Crosby for his accomplishments in public service and music,28 and congratulate him on his continued success as a recording artist.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed30 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Logan Crosby.31 S.
