26 LC 129 9025 House Resolution 1367 By: Representatives Ridley of the 22nd, Thomas of the 21st, Fincher of the 23rd, Byrd of the 20th, Scoggins of the 14th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Deputy Nicholas Glass; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, on the evening of October 25, 2025, Deputy Nicholas Glass, along with Deputy2 Anthony Pacifico, faced a violent, life-threatening attack in the line of duty while heroically3 carrying out the difficult responsibilities of their vocation; and4 WHEREAS, Deputy Nicholas Glass is highly regarded by the citizens of his community and5 state and by local government officials as a person of unquestioned integrity and dedication6 to the sound principles of law enforcement; and7 WHEREAS, Deputy Nicholas Glass exhibits extraordinary devotion to public service,8 outstanding loyalty, fine leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in all of his duties; and9 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that gratitude is expressed for the unique and10 often unheralded contributions of local law enforcement profess ionals on behalf of the11 citizens of this state.12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend the care, courage, sympathy, a nd selfless dedication14 H. R. 1367 - 1 - 26 LC 129 9025 exhibited by Deputy Nicholas Glass in carrying out the difficult duties of his vocation and15 express their utmost appreciation for having so purely and trul y defined for others the16 meaning of public servant.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to19 Deputy Nicholas Glass.20 H.
