26 LC 129 1077 House Resolution 1365 By: Representatives Beckles of the 96th, McClain of the 109th, Park of the 107th, Carter of the 93rd, Ali of the 106th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Ivan Soto for his outstanding artistic talent and dedication to1 the visual arts; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Ivan Soto is an exemplary fifth-grade student at Norcross Elementary School3 in House District 96, demonstrating exceptional talent and creativity in the visual arts; and4 WHEREAS, Ivan is a skilled cartoon artist who explores diverse drawing styles with5 remarkable imagination and technical skill, creating characters with intentional storytelling6 and meaningful narratives; and7 WHEREAS, Ivan approaches his artistic practice with maturity and dedication beyond his8 years, valuing the complete creative process from conceptualiza tion through execution to9 thoughtful revision; and10 WHEREAS, Ivan's commitment to artistic growth reflects the valu es of perseverance,11 creativity, and continuous improvement that distinguish young artists of exceptional promise;12 and13 H. R. 1365 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1077 WHEREAS, Ivan proudly embraces his Mexican and American heritag e, enriching his14 artistic perspective through his bilingual abilities and bi-cultural identity; and15 WHEREAS, Ivan's art teacher at Norcross Elementary School recog n i z e s h i m a s a n16 outstanding student whose creativity, imagination, and dedicati on inspire both peers and17 educators; and18 WHEREAS, Ivan demonstrates the importance of family support in nurturing young talent,19 expressing deep gratitude for his mother and two sisters who pr ovide unwavering20 encouragement in all his endeavors; and21 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng achievements of this22 talented young Georgian artist be appropriately recognized.23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24 the members of this body recognize and commend Ivan Soto for hi s exceptional artistic25 talent, dedication to his craft, and bright promise as a young artist, and extend best wishes26 for his continued success in all future artistic endeavors.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ivan29 Soto.30 H.
