26 LC 129 1092 House Resolution 1358 By: Representatives Jones of the 143rd, Herring of the 145th, Paris of the 142nd, Griffin of the 149th, and Washburn of the 144th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Londyn Rodgers; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Londyn Rodgers, an exemplary student leader, scholar, and servant, reflects a2 deep commitment to strengthening her community and preparing her peers for future success;3 and4 WHEREAS, as a student within Bibb County School District, she i s actively engaged in5 Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) pathways, where she has developed6 leadership, communication, and workforce-ready skills that supp ort her commitment to7 preparing students for success beyond the classroom; and8 WHEREAS, Londyn Rodgers is also a dual enrollment student at Central Georgia Technical9 College, further demonstrating her dedication to academic excellence and college and career10 readiness while still in high school; and11 WHEREAS, she is the founder of The Social Bridge, a community service initiative designed12 to equip K-12 students with the social, leadership, and profess ional skills necessary to13 become confident, workforce-ready citizens; and14 H. R. 1358 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1092 WHEREAS, through The Social Bridge, Londyn Rodgers has demonstrated that academic15 achievement must be paired with communication skills, professio nalism, and leadership16 development in order to ensure long-term student success; and17 WHEREAS, she currently serves as Miss Macon's Teen 2026 within the Miss America18 Organization, using her platform to advocate for student empowe rment, leadership19 development, and community impact; and20 WHEREAS, her dedication, poise, and commitment to service embody the highest ideals of21 youth leadership, civic responsibility, and positive influence; and22 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this23 remarkable young leader be appropriately recognized.24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25 the members of this body recognize and commend Londyn Rodgers and extend their sincere26 best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and success.27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to29 Londyn Rodgers.30 H.
