26 LC 129 0859 House Resolution 1351 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Recognizing 2026 Tech Demo Day at the state capitol; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the third annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held in 2026, hosted2 by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and3 WHEREAS, this exciting event will celebrate high school students from Shiloh High School4 for their high achievement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM); and5 WHEREAS, Tech Demo Day brings together several stakeholders thr oughout the state to6 discuss various tech topics and invites students to learn about impressive new developments7 in technology; and8 WHEREAS, the entire State of Georgia benefits from employment g rowth and wages9 resulting from a thriving technology industry; and10 WHEREAS, it is imperative that people of all races and cultures be included in the growing11 field of technology and this event will promote that inclusion; and12 H. R. 1351 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0859 WHEREAS, participating studnets are Dante Roberts, Tania Hidalg o-Valencia, Luis13 Fernando Huerta-Garcia, Shikchhya Rai, Dulani Davis, Marcus Thomas, Jairo A Villalobos,14 Evelyn Andrade Torres, Chelsea Bartley, and Carlos Scott; and15 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that these outstan ding participants be16 appropriately recognized and thanked for using their innovation and creativity to make our17 state a better place to live and work.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize 2026 Tech Demo Day at the state capitol and commend20 and thank all those involved in this important event for their efforts of behalf of this state.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to those23 participating in 2026 Tech Demo Day at the state capitol.24 H.
