26 LC 129 1101 Senate Resolution 777 By: Senator Mangham of the 55th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending John Hope Bryant on Next Gen Youth Entrepreneurship Day;1 and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, John Hope Bryant is an American entrepreneur, prominen t thought leader,3 author, philanthropist, and a global authority on financial literacy, economic empowerment,4 and inclusive capitalism; and 5 WHEREAS, he is the founder, chairman, and chief executive offic er of Operation HOPE,6 Inc., the nation's largest nonprofit provider of financial literacy services for youth and adults,7 as well as the founder of John Hope Bryant Holdings, Bryant Group Ventures, and Bryant8 Group Advisors; and9 WHEREAS, John Hope Bryant has amassed over 3 million followers across social media10 platforms, as well as is a CNBC Contributor, host of the iHeart Radio podcast "Money &11 Wealth with John Hope Bryant", and a member of both the CNBC Global Financial Wellness12 Council and the CNBC CEO Council; and13 S. R. 777 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1101 WHEREAS, his impact has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including14 Oprah Winfrey's Use Your Life Award, American Banker's Innovato r of the Year, and15 inclusion in TIME's 50 Leaders for the Future; and16 WHEREAS, in recognition of his dedication to transforming econo mic systems for17 underserved communities and ensuring inclusive growth in the AI -driven future, he was18 named on the Forbes BLK50 List in December 2024 and TIME Magazine's inaugural The19 Closers List; and20 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor this rema rkable and distiguished21 gentleman.22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body23 recognize and commend John Hope Bryant and extend their sincere best wishes for his24 continued health, happiness, and success.25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed26 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to John Hope Bryant.27 S.
