26 LC 129 0994 Senate Resolution 786 By: Senators Still of the 48th, Walker III of the 20th, Anavitarte of the 31st, Robertson of the 29th, Anderson of the 24th and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Audrey Kittila, Miss Georgia 2025; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the Miss Georgia and Miss America Competitions are longstanding programs2 dedicated to empowering women through scholarship, leadership, service, and personal3 achievement; and4 WHEREAS, in recognition of her unwavering commitment to educati on, service, and5 leadership, Audrey Kittila, of Milton, Georgia, was crowned Miss Georgia in 2025 and was6 named 3rd Runner-Up at the Miss America 2026 competition; and7 WHEREAS, she is the founder of Education for All, a community service initiative aimed8 at reducing school dropout rates by expanding access to early l iteracy and educational9 resources to ensure no student is overlooked or underserved due to their zip code, family10 background, or access to tools for learning; and11 WHEREAS, through her initiative, Audrey has impacted thousands of students across12 Georgia by organizing school visits, promoting classroom reading, mentoring, and partnering13 with nonprofits that support K-12 students; and14 S. R. 786 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0994 WHEREAS, in addition to her comm unity service, Audrey is classi cally trained in both15 violin and piano, a runway model, and a current worship leader; and16 WHEREAS, Audrey exemplifies the ideals of integrity, leadership, and dedication, bringing17 pride to herself, her family, the City of Milton, and the State of Georgia; and18 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkab le Georgian be19 appropriately recognized.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body21 recognize and commend Audrey Kittila, Miss Georgia 2025, and extend sincere best wishes22 for her continued health, happiness, and success.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed24 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Audrey Kittila.25 S.
