L. 1945, p. 528), as amended, particularly by an Act approved May 9, 2017 (Ga.3 L. 2017, p. 4002), and an Act approved May 3, 2018 (Ga. L. 2018, p. 3568), so as to revise4 the membership of the pension board; to provide for related mat ters; to repeal conflicting5 laws; and for other purposes.6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:7 SECTION 1.8 An Act providing in Fulton County a system for pension and retirement to pay teachers and9 employees of the Board of Education of Fulton County, approved February 2, 1945 (Ga.10 L. 1945, p. 528), as amended, particularly by an Act approved M ay 9, 2017 (Ga. L. 2017,11 p. 4002), and an Act approved May 3, 2018 (Ga. L. 2018, p. 3568), is amended by revising12 paragraph (6) of subsection (b) of Section 12.01 as follows:13 "(6) One at-large member nominated by the pension board and appointed by the board14 of education who shall be an active or retired participant in the plan."15 H.
