26 LC 129 1145 Senate Resolution 816 By: Senators Davenport of the 17th, Jones of the 10th, James of the 28th, Mangham of the 55th, Anderson of the 43rd and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Dimetrice Latimore, the Department o f Community1 Supervision's 2025 Employee of the Year; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, founded on the tenets of public safety and progress, t he Georgia Department3 of Community Supervision commenced operations on July 1, 2015, through the passage of4 House Bill 310; and5 WHEREAS, Dimetrice Latimore has honorably served the State of Georgia for 25 years and6 has shown herself to be an outstanding embodiment of the depart ment’s core values of7 selfless service, accountability, integrity, teamwork, and professional development; and8 WHEREAS, Dimetrice routinely goes above and beyond to provide e fficient, effective,9 selfless, and dedicated service to her coworkers and the State of Georgia; and10 WHEREAS, Dimetrice is the consummate professional and a person upon whom many of11 her colleagues rely for her knowledge and expertise; and12 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this13 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.14 S. R. 816 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1145 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body15 recognize and commend Dimetrice Latimore on being named the Department of Community16 Supervision’s 2025 Employee of the Year.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed18 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Dimetrice19 Latimore.20 S.
