26 LC 129 1081 House Resolution 1410 By: Representatives Howard of the 71st, Dickey of the 134th, Huddleston of the 72nd, Meeks of the 178th, Ridley of the 22nd, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Georgia Green Industry Associati on; and for other1 purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Georgia Green Industry Association is a state-wide trade organization for3 the horticulture industry in Georgia; and4 WHEREAS, members of the Georgia Green Industry Association include professionals in5 the landscape trade, irrigation contractors, wholesale nursery growers, greenhouse operators,6 retail garden centers, flower growers, and allied sales companies; and7 WHEREAS, the Georgia Green Industry Association serves as the umbrella association for8 this state's entire horticulture industry, providing leadership and advocacy for agriculture9 businesses and enthusiasts; and10 WHEREAS, the Georgia Green Industry Association and its members will be present at the11 capitol on February 17. 2026, to speak with elected officials in order to promote and advance12 the economic lifestyle and environmental benefits of horticulture in Georgia.13 H. R. 1410 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1081 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that14 the members of this body commend the Georgia Green Industry Ass ociation for its15 commitment to Georgia horticulture.16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized17 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the18 Georgia Green Industry Association.19 H.
