26 LC 129 1181 Senate Resolution 803 By: Senators Wicks of the 34th and Anderson of the 43rd A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Tammi Temeki Perkins; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Tammi Temeki Perkins is a United States Army veteran, an entrepreneur, and2 a community leader who is committed to empowerment, wellness, a nd community3 engagement; and 4 WHEREAS, she served as a guardian of this nation's freedom and liberty with the United5 States Army, valiantly and courageously protecting her fellow Americans from 1996 to 2016;6 and7 WHEREAS, during her distinguished career, she received numerous awards recognizing her8 dedication, professionalism, and service to our nation; and9 WHEREAS, beyond her military accomplishments, Tammi is an active and loyal member10 of several veteran and women-led organizations, including Kappa Epsilon Psi Military11 Sorority Foundation, Inc.; Women Veteran Initiative Foundation; Georgia Military Women;12 Empowered Sisterhoods of Veterans, Inc.; and Georgia Military Women Southern Crescent;13 and 14 S. R. 803 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1181 WHEREAS, she is an accomplished and dedicated entrepreneur and business owner,15 operating Nspired 2 Travel LLC, Tammi'z Nspired Thingz LLC, and Nspired 2 Stay Fit LLC;16 and17 WHEREAS, she also serves as a board member for Room to Bloom, a nonprofit community18 development organization in Montgomery, Alabama; and19 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this extraord inary Georgian be20 appropriately honored.21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body22 recognize and commend Tammi Temeki Perkins for her unwavering c ommitment to23 empowerment, wellness, and community engagement.24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed25 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Tammi Temeki26 Perkins.27 S.
