26 LC 129 1157 House Resolution 1413 By: Representatives Hawkins of the 27th, Cox of the 28th, Dubnik of the 29th, Dunahoo of the 31st, McCollum of the 30th, and others A RESOLUTION Congratulating the North Hall High School girls cross country t eam for winning the 20251 GHSA Class 3A State Cross Country Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the North Hall High School girls cross country team ha s established and3 maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;4 and5 WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team6 a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable7 2025 campaign, the team captured its second consecutive state championship; and8 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding9 athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the10 team; and11 WHEREAS, this superlative team included sophomore Summer Muxlow , the GHSA 3A12 State Champion, and sophomore Ealyn Kennedy, who finished on the All State Podium in13 3rd place; and14 H. R. 1413 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1157 WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by15 performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is16 abundantly proper to call them champions.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body congratulate the North Hall High School girls cross country team19 for winning the 2025 GHSA Class 3A State Cross Country Championship and extend best20 wishes for their continued success.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the23 North Hall High School girls cross country team.24 H.
