26 LC 129 1119 House Resolution 1414 By: Representatives Hawkins of the 27th, Cox of the 28th, Dubnik of the 29th, Dunahoo of the 31st, McCollum of the 30th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Andrew Collinson; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Andrew Collinson, of Gainesville, Georgia, is a youth runner for the national2 nonprofit organization Running 4 Heroes; and3 WHEREAS, through his involvement with Running 4 Heros, Andrew has exemplified the4 ideals of leadership, respect, and selflessness while honoring our nations fallen first5 responders; and6 WHEREAS, he runs in tribute to first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty,7 carrying a Thin Line flag representing their department; and8 WHEREAS, following each run, a video is posted to YouTube and the flag is mailed to the9 department, accompanied by a personal letter to be delivered to the family; and10 WHEREAS, Andrew's exceptional character and dedication distinguish him well beyond his11 years; and12 H. R. 1414 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1119 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkab le and accomplished13 Georgian be appropriately honored.14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15 the members of this body recognize and commend Andrew Collinson and extend their16 sincere best wishes for his continued health, happiness, and success.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to19 Andrew Collinson.20 H.
