26 LC 129 1227 House Resolution 1442 By: Representatives Bazemore of the 69th, Hugley of the 141st, Neal of the 79th, Herring of the 145th, Kendrick of the 95th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Ariel Hibbert; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Ariel Hibbert is a driven Biology Pre-Health student w ith a passion for2 medicine, patient advocacy, and healthcare innovation; and3 WHEREAS, in 2022, along with her t wo peers, Aubrey Allen and Ja smine Stamper, she4 co-founded Telepsy, an app for individuals with epilepsy; and5 WHEREAS, the award-winning app is used to aid individuals in managing their epilepsy by6 providing information and tools that can be used to make a difference in their daily lives; and 7 WHEREAS, Telepsy has features such as the ability to locate nearby hospitals based on your8 current location, appointment reminders for doctor visits, a seizure timer, and direct access9 to emergency services like 911; and10 WHEREAS, a multi-scholarship recipient, she is recognized for her dedication, resilience,11 and commitment to service, particularly within underserved communities; and 12 H. R. 1442 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1227 WHEREAS, her hard work and dedication have recognized through numerous prestigious13 awards including the 2024-2025 President's Lifetime Achievement Award as well as was the 14 2023 Congressional App Challenge Winner and 2022 HOSA Internati onal Leadership15 Conference Medical Innovation 1st Place Winner; and16 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for17 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and18 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this19 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 the members of this body recognize and commend Ariel Hibbert and extend the most sincere22 best wishes for continued health and happiness.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ariel25 Hibbert. 26 H.
