26 LC 129 1073 Senate Resolution 846 By: Senators Mangham of the 55th, Wicks of the 34th, Kemp of the 38th and Jones II of the 22nd A RESOLUTION Recognizing February 17, 2026, as Next Gen Youth Entrepreneursh ip Day at the state1 capitol; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Youth Entrepreneurship Day is an educational and inspiring event designed to3 introduce young people to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic4 engagement; and 5 WHEREAS, hosted by Senator Randal Mangham on February 17, this special day at the6 Georgia State Capitol brings together youth, parents, educators, and community leaders to7 celebrate innovation, creativity, and the power of young entrepreneurs; and8 WHEREAS, participants will have the opportunity to learn about business development and9 the role entrepreneurship plays in strengthening communities wh ile also gaining firsthand10 exposure to Georgia's legislative process; and11 WHEREAS, Youth Entrepreneurship Day aims to empower the next ge neration with the12 knowledge, confidence, and vision needed to turn ideas into impact; and13 S. R. 846 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1073 WHEREAS, through education, encouragement, and engagement, the event highlights the14 importance of investing in young minds and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit that will help15 shape Georgia's future.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body17 recognize February 17, 2026, as Next Gen Youth Entrepreneurship Day at the state capitol.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed19 to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the public and the20 press.21 S.
