26 LC 129 1259 House Resolution 1458 By: Representatives Adeyina of the 110th, Beckles of the 96th, Dawson of the 65th, Ali of the 106th, Jackson of the 68th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Sherridee Dixon; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Sherridee Dixon is a costume designer, creative director, and certified fashion2 designer known for her ability to bring stories to life through style; and3 WHEREAS, with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of visual storytelling, she4 designs costumes that enhance character, mood, and narrative across film, stage, and creative5 productions.; and6 WHEREAS, Sherridee approaches every project with intention-whet her she's building a7 character from the ground up, directing a cohesive visual concept, or crafting garments that8 balance form, function, and expression. Her work reflects a com mitment to originality,9 cultural awareness, and craftsmanship; and10 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high11 ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom12 which only comes through experience and the strength of charact er which is achieved13 through overcoming the many challenges of life; and14 H. R. 1458 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1259 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for15 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and16 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this17 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize and commend Sherridee Dixon and extend the most20 sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to23 Sherridee Dixon.24 H.
