26 LC 129 1260 House Resolution 1470 By: Representatives Adeyina of the 110th, Beckles of the 96th, Dawson of the 65th, Ali of the 106th, Jackson of the 68th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Jessie Woo; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Jessie Woo is a viral comedic sensation on social medi a, television and red2 carpet host, actress, content creator, and singer; and3 WHEREAS, known as Korra Obidi, she started her dance career in 2007, featuring in a song4 by Nigerian female rapper Sasha P.; and5 WHEREAS, she was 2025 BET Awards Live Pre Show Co-Host, Former Dish Nation on6 FOX Co-Host and a comedian on Wild N Out as well as an actress on ALL BLK’s A La7 Carte series as Misha; and8 WHEREAS, in the past four years, she has amassed an audience of over 800,000 Instagram9 followers, over 500,000 on Facebook, and millions of views across platforms; and10 WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for11 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and12 H. R. 1470 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1260 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this13 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15 the members of this body recognize and commend Jessie Woo extend the most sincere best16 wishes for continued health and happiness.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jessie19 Woo.20 H.
