26 LC 129 0990 House Resolution 1450 By: Representatives Yearta of the 152nd, Williams of the 148th, Cheokas of the 151st, Greene of the 154th, and Barrett of the 24th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Scott Tomlinson upon his retirement; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Scott Tomlinson has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the2 vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare3 of the citizens of Georgia; and4 WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time,5 talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced6 dramatically by his superlative service with Flint Community Bank; and7 WHEREAS, this distinguished gentleman has given inspiration to many through his high8 ideals and morals, and he possesses the vast wisdom which only comes through experience9 and the strength of character which is achieved through overcoming the many challenges of10 life; and11 WHEREAS, he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for12 integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and13 H. R. 1450 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0990 WHEREAS, Scott has served with honor and distinction for over 4 5 years in the banking14 industry, 20 years of that distinguished service being with the Flint Community Bank, and15 he will be sorely missed upon the occasion of his retirement; and16 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this17 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body recognize and commend Scott Tomlinson; congratulate him upon20 the grand occasion of his retirement; and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued21 health and happiness.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Scott24 Tomlinson.25 H.
